Last week, Dispatch 010 set a simple standard: utility should help a person do something useful before asking them to buy anything. Two public releases now let readers test that standard instead of taking it on faith.
Burrow Run is a free, one-minute browser game with no wallet or account. The updated supply and liquidity transparency record documents five token-lock escrows, vesting terms, creation evidence, and liquidity-provider custody figures. One is an experience. The other is a diligence tool. Both matter only because a reader can open them and inspect their boundaries.
What changed since Dispatch 010
Burrow Run went live as a three-lane game built around the project’s signal-versus-noise language. A player switches tunnels, collects verified signals, avoids noise, and manages three points of grit during a 60-second run. It supports keyboard and touch controls, pause and resume, optional generated sound, reduced-motion behavior, and a local field record.
The transparency page was expanded into a dated supply record. It reports current on-chain supply, five Jupiter Lock escrows, their release schedules, the method used for maximum circulating supply, and separate Streamflow evidence for LP-token custody. It links to underlying accounts and transactions rather than asking readers to accept one headline percentage.
Test one: use the utility without connecting anything
Open Burrow Run in an ordinary browser. It does not request a wallet, token balance, download, email address, or account. Scores and run statistics stay in local browser storage. There is no public leaderboard and no claim that a score has cash, token, prize, or financial value.
That design matters. A branded game can be community utility without becoming a disguised transaction funnel. It gives visitors something concrete to do, turns the MADGER identity into an interactive experience, and preserves a clean boundary between participation and purchasing.
The reader benefit is immediate: start a run, test the controls, resize the screen, pause it, reload the page, and inspect whether the record remains local. If the experience is confusing or breaks, that is actionable feedback rather than abstract enthusiasm.
What Burrow Run proves—and what it does not
The live game proves that a small, accessible browser experience has shipped. It also demonstrates a privacy-conscious choice: local records instead of an account system. The public repository documents testable scoring, grit, wave, objective, and safe-lane rules, while the production page states the non-financial boundary.
It does not prove sustained player demand, long-term retention, a future game economy, token demand, or commercial success. It does not turn local scores into ownership, rewards, or investment value. The correct next evidence is ordinary product evidence: stable sessions, useful player feedback, repaired defects, clearer instructions, and measured improvements that do not compromise privacy.
Test two: inspect custody instead of trusting a percentage
The transparency record dated September 16 reports five verified Jupiter Lock escrows holding a combined 774,999,999.999968 MADGER. Against the observed on-chain supply of 999,999,994.992751 MADGER, the published method produces a maximum circulating amount of 224,999,994.992783 MADGER.
The five purposes are listed separately: strategic treasury reserve, core treasury reserve, community reserve, operations and marketing reserve, and founder and creator allocation. Each row publishes an escrow address, balance, release terms, and available creation or Jupiter Lock evidence.
Liquidity is treated separately. The page reports 419.939397081 of 422.039094066 LP tokens in Streamflow escrows, approximately 99.50% of observed LP supply. Token locks and LP-token custody answer different questions. Combining them into one claim would make the record less useful.
Read the 77.50% figure correctly
“Provably locked” is not the same as “gone forever,” “risk-free,” or “guaranteed price support.” The escrows have published schedules. Some include cliffs and monthly releases beginning in 2027. Inspect the live record for the specific dates and terms rather than treating the current percentage as permanent.
“Maximum circulating” is also a conservative calculation, not a claim about effective market float. The method subtracts only balances in the five verified lock escrows. It does not exclude unlocked project wallets merely because those wallets may not be trading. That avoids presenting discretionary holdings as technically unavailable.
The figures are a timestamped observation. Balances, supply, third-party interfaces, and escrow status should be rechecked at the source. A transparent calculation makes review easier; it does not eliminate smart-contract, custody, liquidity, operational, or market risk.
One monitoring caveat stays visible
The repository’s latest automated token report records the same observed supply and confirms six decimals, the classic SPL Token program, initialization, and revoked mint and freeze authorities. Its overall health flag is false because the configured supply check does not exactly match the observed supply.
That flag should not be hidden, exaggerated, or casually reinterpreted. It is a monitoring signal to inspect and reconcile. It does not cancel the passing authority checks, and those passing checks do not independently prove wallet custody, liquidity depth, market quality, or financial safety.
Why these releases belong together
A project can make a character memorable and still leave visitors with nothing useful to do. It can publish impressive percentages and still make evidence difficult to inspect. Burrow Run and the five-lock record address opposite sides of that problem.
The game turns the brand into a no-purchase activity. The transparency page turns custody claims into an evidence trail. The character is the recognizable layer; utility and verification are the substance underneath it.
Play what shipped. Inspect what is claimed. Keep the limits in view.
A five-minute reader audit
- Open Burrow Run. Confirm that it starts without a wallet, account, download, or purchase.
- Test the boundaries. Try keyboard or touch controls, pause, reload, and confirm the field record is described as local.
- Open transparency. Match the official mint:
BHauMX8akk2umqkQqnJwpYkCRkZmefGnEBFByeFXRKqv. - Inspect all five lock rows. Follow account and transaction links; compare balances, cliff dates, release periods, and control claims.
- Separate token supply from LP custody. Do not use one percentage as a substitute for the other.
- Check the dates. Treat every figure as a snapshot and look for a newer record.
- Keep market risk separate. Product delivery and custody evidence are useful signals, not return forecasts.
The next proof points
For Burrow Run, the next credible evidence is maintenance: defects fixed, accessibility preserved, controls improved, and player feedback translated into visible revisions. For transparency, it is repeatable refreshes, reconciled monitoring, durable links, and clear updates when balances or schedules change.
Signals From Below will keep using the same test. A plan is labeled as a plan. A release earns “shipped” only when readers can open it. A percentage earns attention only when the method and source remain available.
The signal
MADGER’s utility is easier to evaluate because it now includes something to use and something to audit. Neither requires blind trust. That is the point.
